Mr. Raymond Clifton Beane

Mr. Raymond Clifton Beane age 66, of Dobson passed away on Saturday morning April 28, 2007 at his home. He was born in Surry County on April 12, 1941 to the late Robert Wilson Beane and the late Ada Mae Beane. He was employed by Tultex and by Kentucky Derby before he became disabled. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Fannie Hawks Beane of the home; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Dorothy Jean and JC Marion of Dobson; Betty Lowe of Mt. Airy, Barbara Ann Beane of Dobson; a brother Weldon Beane of Boonville; his special helpers Lexie Wood, Brad Wood, Gaye Wood and Barry O'Neal; by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday April 30, 2007 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson with burial in the Dobson City Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Tucker, Rev. Tony White, and Rev. Barry O'Neal will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 7 until 9 PM.
