Mr. Reginald Hudgins

Mr. Reginald Lee Hudgins, age 79, of Ararat, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hudgins was born in Forsyth County on September 16, 1938, to the late James and Ethel Blakley Hudgins. He was a retired truck driver after 53 years of service and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving is his loving wife of 36 years, Barbara Cooper Hudgins; a daughter, Lynn Cox; a son, Gary Hudgins; grandchildren, Ashley Cox and Cara Cox; special grandchildren, Jaylee Smith, and Kody Miller; and his precious dogs, Buddy, Minnie, and Molly. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Ararat, by Rev. Josh Sechirst. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery with military honors by VFW Memorial Honor Guard, Mt. Airy Post 219 & Pilot Mtn. Post 9436. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 to 8:00, also at the church.
