Mr. Reuben Boatwright "Boaty" Hudgins, III

Mr. Reuben Boatwright "Boaty" Hudgins, III, age 54 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born in Danbury, North Carolina on August 30, 1958 to the late Reuben B. Hudgins, II and Mary Lee West Hudgins. He had worked at American Furniture in Martinsville.
Mr. Hudgins is survived by four brothers, Lee W. Hudgins of Roanoke, John Elder of Smithfield, Robert Elder of Chicago, Illinois and Doug Elder of Lynchburg.
A memorial service for Mr. Hudgins will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stuart United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Shepherd officiating. Burial will be private.
