Mr. Richard N. Dalton

Mr. Richard Nelson Dalton, age 66 of Stuart passed away at his home on Monday, December 31, 2007. He was born on December 22, 1941 to the late Arthur Dalton and Annice Hall Dalton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Handy Dalton, two sisters; Evelyn Wigginton and Clarice D. Hall, and a brother, Edward Dalton.
Mr. Dalton is survived by his wife, Bizzie W. Smith Dalton of the home, a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Dalton of Stuart, two step-daughters; Patricia Williams of Stuart and Sandy Genung of Patrick Springs, three step-sons; Bo Smith of King, NC, Junior Palmer of King, NC and Randy Palmer of Lawsonville, NC, eight grandchildren, three sisters; Myrtle Gregory, Grace Dalton, and Mable Rakes all of Stuart and a brother, Herman Dalton of Stuart.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 2:00pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Bernard Handy officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberson family cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home and at other times at the home located at 185 Elastic Plant Road.
