Mr. Richard Clint Holmes

Mr. Richard Clint Holmes, age 71, of Mt. Airy, NC died on Wednesday January 13, 2016 at his home unexpectedly. He was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana on March 25, 1944 to the late Beuford Raymond and Blanche Lucille Calhoun Holmes. He was a carpenter and also worked on the pipe line. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Jacob Daniel Lowe. Surviving are three daughters Rhonda Holmes of State Road, NC, Stephanie Holmes of Lansing, NC, Danielle Lowe of State Road, NC; six grandchildren Andrew Warren, Wesley Willey, Jaeden Lowe, Samuel Willey, Dayten Terterman, Jacob Willey; one brother James Holmes of Rockford Il. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 30, 2016 at Ladonia Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Payne conducting the service. The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of his service at 2:00 PM. The family request that memorials be made to the Richard Clint Holmes memorial fund C/O Stephanie Holmes 4844 Old NC Hwy 16, Lansing, NC 28642. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC is serving the Holmes family.
