Mr. Ricky C. Stallings

Mr. Ricky Carroll Stallings, age 46 of Martinsville, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at his home. He was born in Pittysylvania County on July 25, 1960. He was a member of Kingdom Hall Church in Roanoke, Virginia, and had been a professional musician with artists such as POPS, Crossroads, Fatz and other local groups. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Mae Ellen Hall Stallings and a brother, Bobby Darrell Stallings.
Mr. Stallings is survived by one son, Matthew Stallings of Stuart; his father, Curtis "Joe" Stallings of Martinsville; two sisters, Karen Joyce Stallings of Martinsville and Sharon A. Trevillian of Axton; and one brother, John Harold Stallings of Roanoke.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. The family will receive friends at the home of Rebecca and Daisy Metcalf, 4060 Greensboro Road, Ridgeway, Virginia. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
