Mr. Robert E. Coleman

Mr. Robert E. Coleman, age 44 of Spencer passed away Friday evening at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He was born on April 15, 1962 to the late Charlie "Bill" Lincoln Coleman and Margaret Wood Coleman Stein of Spencer,VA . In addition to his father, Mr. Coleman was also preceded in death by a infant daughter, Charly Lynn Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a member of Mayo Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Martha Ann Smith Coleman of the home; a son and daughter in law, Robert "Robbie" Edwin Coleman, Jr. and Jennifer Lynn Coleman of Stuart; a daughter, Heather Dawn Coleman of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Michelle Coleman of Sandy Ridge, NC; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores and Eddie Lawrence of Spencer, VA and Susan and Scott Fulcher of Martinsville, VA, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Coleman will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 11:00am at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Doug Ramsey and Mr. Phillip Pigg officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home and at other times at the home of his mother, 16533 AL Philpott Highway, Martinsville, VA.
