Mr. Robert Lote Faulkner

Mr. Robert Lote Faulkner, age 79, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Faulkner was born in Carroll County on April 14, 1936 to Claude Jerome and Ruth Allene Golding Faulkner. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was retired from NC Granite Corporation after 32 years of dedicated service. Mr. Faulkner is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jean Harrison Faulkner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois Gammons, Helen Ayers, Sandy and Benny Bowman and Lynn and Bobby Poindexter; brothers and a sister-in-law, Jackie and Debbie Faulkner and Terry Faulkner; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Faulkner was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Eaton and a brother, Roger Faulkner. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Donald Bryant. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors by VFW Memorial Honor Guard, Mt. Airy Post 2019 & Pilot Mountain Post 9436. Family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
