Mr. Robert Lee "Tobe" Shelton

Mr. Robert Lee "Tobe" Shelton, age 72 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center. He was born in Henry County on December 29, 1943 to the late Bud Shelton and Nellie Hubbard Shelton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Shelton; a sister, Mary Bowman; and two infant sisters.

Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife, Belva Mae Williams Shelton of Spencer, VA; three sons, James Shelton and wife, Tamera of Eden, NC, Daniel Shelton and wife, Brandi of Spencer, VA, and Christopher Shelton and Rhonda Vines of Staunton, VA; five grandchildren, Tiffany Shelton, Thomas Shelton, Bryce Shelton, Benjamin Shelton, and Elijah Shelton; two sisters, Katherine Pace and husband, H.C. of Spencer, VA, and Jane Shelton of Elizabeth City, NC; five brothers, Roger Shelton and wife, Frances of Stuart, VA, Cecil Shelton and wife, Relda of Martinsville, VA, David Shelton and wife, Bonnie of Ridgeway, VA, Larry Shelton and wife, Susan of Spencer, VA, and Jack Shelton and wife, Debbie of Bassett, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Shelton will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Sandy Ridge Christian Church with Pastor Butch Dillinger and Pastor Kenneth McFarling officiating.
