Mr. Robert Keith Stanfield

Mr. Robert Keith Stanfield, 44 of Winston Salem, husband of Tanja Bragg Stanfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September, 22, 2012. Mr. Stanfield was born in Mecklenburg County November 10, 1967 the son of Louis Garrett and Linda Blue Stanfield. Robert held a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Barton College and an AA degree with honors (4.0) in computer aided design from Forsyth Technical Community College. Robert was a gifted artist whose generosity and quick wit will be greatly missed. Robert is survived by his wife, Tanja Bragg Stanfield of the home; his special dog, Bella Blue; his parents, Louis Garrett and Linda Blue Stanfield of Mount Airy; three brothers, Garrett Cooper Stanfield of Ararat, NC, Neil Albritton Stanfield of Ararat, NC, and Louis Logan Stanfield of Greensboro, NC; his father and mother-in-law, Rev. Mike and Jeanann Bragg of Medina, OH; sister and brother-in-law, Paige and Mike Donahoe of Medina, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Stacie Bragg of Mooresville, NC; several nieces and nephews, beloved aunts and uncles and very dear friends. Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert Sr., and Lucille Newell Blue, and his paternal grandparents, Louis Garrett, Sr., and Maribland Albritton Stanfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 26, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church in Mount Airy with Reverend Jim Pyatt and Pastor Mike Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy, NC. The Stanfield family will receive friends in the Ladies Parlor of Central United Methodist Church of Mount Airy on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM.
