Mr. Roger Lee Hiatt

Mr. Roger Lee Hiatt, age 69, of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, February 07, 2018, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Hiatt was born in Patrick County on February 5, 1949, to John Walter and Carrie Susan Hiatt. He was a loving husband and father who will be dearly missed by all his family and many friends. Surviving is his devoted wife, Margaret Reynolds Hiatt; sons, Jonathan, Joseph, and Mark Hiatt; and brothers and a sister-in-law, Ted Hiatt and Michael and Rita Hiatt. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hiatt was preceded in death by sisters, Louella Bowman and Leatrice Collins; and by brothers, James Hiatt and McArthur Hiatt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 9, 2018, at Chestnut Grove Baptist by Rev. Calvin Vaughn and Rev. Mack Cassell. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation.
