Mr. Roger Allen Jamison

Mr. Roger Allen Jamison, age 55 of Woolwine, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at his home. He was born in Martinsville on October 2, 1953, and was preceded in death by his father, Richard Jamison. He had retired from Cardinal Trucking as a truck driver.
Mr. Jamison is survived by his wife, Penelope Hilligus Jamison of Patrick Springs; five children. Christopher Jamison of Glade Hill; Terry Curtis, Jr. of Patrick Springs, Sheri Tyrrell of Lexington, North Carolina, Kourtnie Barbour of Dundee, New York and Cindy Clark of Lexington, North Carolina; several grandchildren; his mother, Nina Frances Eggleston Jamison of Martinsville; one brother, Donnie Jamison of Martinsville; and one sister, Brenda Jamison Cox of Martinsville.
Memorial services for Mr. Jamison will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Snow Creek Road, Martinsville with Pastor Mike Eisenman officiating, and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at DeHart Park Memory Garden in Stuart followed by a gathering at the son's home in Patrick Springs.
