Mr. Roger Eugene Rorrer

Mr. Roger Eugene Rorrer, age 63 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on February 16, 1948 to the late Eugene and Goldie Nester Rorrer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rorrer was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Chadwick "Chad" Rorrer. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church, and had worked for United Elastic and J.P. Stevens.
Mr. Rorrer is survived by four sisters, Linda Rorrer of Stuart, Janice Clark of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Becky Spencer of Stuart and Angie Sanders of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Rorrer will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Sycamore Baptist Church until time of the service. If desired, memorials may be made to the Smith River Rescue Squad, P.O.
