Mr. Ronald James "Ronnie" Gammons

Mr. Ronald James "Ronnie" Gammons, age 50 of Mount Airy, North Carolina, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010. He was born in Patrick County on June 22, 1959 to the late William Grady Gammons and Dorothy Pruitt Spence Gammons. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gammons was preceded in death by two brothers, G. W. Gammons and Charlie Ray Spence. He had worked for Smith Brothers trucking in Mount Airy.
Mr. Gammons is survived by his wife, Anita Wood Gammons of the home; two daughters, Jennifer Warner of Martinsville and Deena Williams of Stuart; and two step-sons, Nathaniel Gilley of Patrick Springs and Matthew Gilley of Vesta.
A memorial graveside service for Mr. Gammons will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Stateline Cemetery with Pastor Larry Barker officiating.
