Mr. Ronald Gray "Ronnie" Lawson

Mr. Ronald Gray "Ronnie" Lawson, age 61 of Stuart, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born in Patrick County on May 28, 1951 to the late William David and Nannie Woods Lawson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by an infant brother and two other brothers, Hassell and Bobby Lawson. He was a longtime member of Five Forks Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed working at PARC Workshop for the past 39 years, and enjoyed working in his garden at home.
Mr. Lawson is survived by two brothers and a sisters-in-law, Richard and Ruth Lawson of Stuart, his twin, Donald "Donnie" Lawson of the home; a sister, Thelma Lawson of the home; a sister-in-law, Sylvia Carol Lawson of Stuart; two nieces; and one nephew.
Funeral services for Mr. Lawson will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Dave Henry and Rev. Gary Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the homeplace.
