Mr. Ronnie Edward Hazelwood

Mr. Ronnie Edward Hazelwood, age 55, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away Monday December 12, 2016 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Forsyth Co. on July 13, 1961 to Shirley Goad Atkins and to the late Billy Edward Hazelwood. He was a member of Blessed Baptist Church and was a disabled automotive mechanic. Surviving are his two daughters Kayla Hazelwood, Hope Hazelwood both of the home; sons Coy Sowder Hazelwood of King, Billy Edward Hazelwood of the home; step daughter Maddie Dunning of Mt. Airy, mother Shirley Goad Atkins of Mt. Airy: grandchildren Ocean Sowder, Coy Sowder Jr. “CJ”, Cherokee Sowder; sister and brother-in-law Stephanie and Richard Ables of Mt. Airy; brother and sister-in-law William and Deborah Faye Hazelwood of Siloam. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday December 16, 2016 at Old Siloam Friends Church Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Nolan Bentley. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister 147 West Poplar St. Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
