Mr. Roy Lee McAlexander

Mr. Roy Lee McAlexander age 75 of Stuart, passed away on Monday March 4, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was born on February 24, 1938 in Floyd County to the late Peter Wesley McAlexander, and Mary East McAlexander. In addition to his parents, Mr. McAlexander was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise, and Rebecca McAlexander; four brothers Moir, John, Melvin, and David Louis McAlexander. Mr. McAlexander attended Stuart Presbyterian Church.
Mr. McAlexander is survived by one sister Mabel Lawless of Stuart; one brother, Samuel McAlexander of Martinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Stuart Presbyterian Church with Pastor Danny Redman officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
