Mr. Roy Lee Scott

Mr. Roy Lee Scott, age 81 of Trinity, NC formally of Surry County the Husband of the late Edna "Ted" Simmons Scott, passed away on Thursday Morning at Graybrier Nursing Home. He was born in Surry County on February 13, 1925 to the late Thomas Scott and the late Shelma Bowman Scott. He was retired from Rex Plastics. Surviving are a Daughter and her husband Edna Gail Scott Reaves and Sherrill Sechrest of Lexington; one son Lee Dale Scott Sr. of Thomasville; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister Mallie Cruthis of Jamestown; a brother Rufus Wilson Scott of Kernersville. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday October 14, 2006 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson with burial to follow in the White Oak Cemetery in Thurmond. Rev. Jimmy Wilborn will officiate the service. The Family will receive friends on Saturday October 14, 2006 from 1PM until time of the service at the funeral home.
