Mr. Roy Ralph Walker, Jr

Mr. Roy Ralph Walker Jr., age 45, of Dobson, NC, passed away on Thursday morning June 13, 2013 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born on March 19, 1968 to Betty Lou Whitaker Walker and Roy Ralph Walker Sr. He was a faithful member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church and was employed by Stanley's Used Cars as a Mechanic. Surviving is his wife Debbie Crissman Walker of the home; his parents Roy and Betty Walker of Dobson; his sister and brother-in-law Vicky Walker Kirkman and Richard Kirkman of Dobson; nephew Elliott Kirkman of Dobson; special friend's uncle Phil Whitaker, Steve Stanley, Pastor Billy Joe Jenkins, and Brother Zack Crissman. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday June 15, 2013 at Welcome Valley Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Brother Bill Jenkins and Brother Zack Crissman will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Welcome Valley Baptist Church on Friday evening from 6PM until 8PM. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Welcome Valley Baptist Church Building Fund 1445 Poplar Springs Rd. Elkin, NC 28621 or to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017 Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Walker Family.
