Mr. Sammy Clyde Goins

Mr. Sammy Clyde Goins, age 65 of Stuart passed away Monday at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. He was born on May 11, 1945 in Patrick County to the late Sam Goins and Nellie Willard Goins. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Laura Fain, Carrie Bowman; and three brothers, Bobby, Walter, and Harry Goins.
Surviving are six sisters, Iris Bryant of Mt. Airy, NC, Linda Fain of Stuart, Frances Hughes of Stuart, Alice Lawson of Lexington, NC, Virginia Easter of Mt. Airy, NC, Rachel Davis of California; three brothers, Shirley Goins of Claudville, Jerry Goins of Meadows of Dan, Andy Goins of Lexington, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Bernard Handy officiating. Burial will be private.
