Mr. Samuel Hosea Hylton

Mr. Samuel Hosea Hylton, age of 51 of Spencer, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his home. He was born in Henry County on August 11, 1962, and was preceded in death by his father, Malvin Wayne Hylton. He was a professional hairdresser and when not working, loved spending time with his dogs and sightseeing.
Hosea is survived by his mother, Dorothy Marie Hylton of Spencer; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Wayne "Bobby" and Trish Hylton of Patrick Springs and Melvin Rydale Hylton of Eden, North Carolina; two nieces, Christina Hylton of Radford and Amanda H. Holt of Patrick Springs; one great-niece, Gabriella; an aunt and uncle, Sue and Harbour Gilley; and a cousin, Tori Hankins of Martinsville..
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Morehead Hospital Foundation Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, 117 E.
