Mr. Samuel Roger Williams

Mr. Samuel Roger Williams, age 80, of Elkin, NC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 21, 2017 at his home. He was born in Essex County, New York on July 18, 1936 to the late Reese and Pauline Strafford Williams. He was a member of Salem Fork Baptist Church, was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Anne Curtis. Surviving are his wife Nina Faye Williams of the home; daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Albert Morganelli of Greenfield, NH; son Matthew Reese Williams of Seffner, Fl.; three grandchildren, Maxwell Brosofsky, Paige Brosofsky, and Daniel Roger Williams. A Memorial Service will be held by his Church Salem Fork Baptist Church 2:00 PM Thursday May 25, 2017. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Williams family, and there will be no formal services held at the funeral home.
