Mr. Stephen Chesleigh Griffith

Mr. Stephen Chesleigh Griffith, age 32 of Cana passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Friday, August 10, 2012. He was born on September 14, 1979 in Newark, DE to Dianna Griffith and the late Stephen Douglas Griffith. Mr. Griffith is survived by his mother and stepfather, Dianna and Larry Lowe of Lambsburg, VA; grandmother, Wyoma Hurley of Mt. Airy; aunts and uncles Patricia and Ed Cobbler of Greensboro, Bridget and Jim Hoenig of Lake Kiowa, TX; Danny and Elizabeth Blevins of Mt. Airy; Scott Griffith of Meadville, PA, cousins, Scott Griffith, Jr., Holly Griffith, Jody Garaventa, Johnny Griffith, Taylor Shaw, Colby Shaw and Shelby Blevins; other extended family, Gina and Steve Button, Susan and Mark Hernandez and Chip Lowe; a special aunt, Katherine Marion of Mt. Airy and special friends, Denise Coalson and her family and Razzie Lowe. In addition to his father, Mr. Griffith was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Griffith; uncles, Chuck Griffith and Johnny Sexton. The body will lie-in-state from 6:00 until 6:30 PM at Fellowship Tabernacle in Lambsburg, VA. A funeral service will follow for the family and closest friends.
