Mr. Steve Vernon Goad

Mr. Steve Vernon Goad, age 56 of Claudville, VA passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Goad was born on September 23, 1954 in Patrick County, VA to the late A.J. and Jewel Alice Hill Goad. Mr. Goad is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Hilda Puckett of Ararat, VA, Peggy Howlett of Rockingham, NC, Cleo and Gene Gammons of Ararat, VA; and Rebecca and David Minish of Natchitockes, LA; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Posie Thomas and Toni Goad of Cana, VA, Lonnie and Cheryl Goad of Virgie, KY, Wilber and Tammy Goad of Danbury, Bruce and Mary Goad of Pinnacle; nineteen nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home and special friend, and Paula Grey.
