Mr. Taze Eugene "Gene" Hill

Mr. Taze Eugene “Gene” Hill, 58, of Lambsburg, VA passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born in Surry County on December 4, 1957 to the late Taze Allen and Maude Johnson Hill. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Justin Scott and Michelle Hill; a step son, David Robertson; a step daughter, Patricia Robertson; a brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Pam Hill; nieces Terry Smith, Sherry Smith, and Melissa Ramey and a nephew, Jacob Hill. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Smith and a nephew, Dusty Hill. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Alton Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to Moody Funeral Home, P.O.
