Mr. Teddy Bob Watson

Mr. Teddy Bob Watson, age 77, of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at his home. Mr. Watson was born in Surry County on April 22, 1938 to Robert Allen and Jocie Creola Hardy Watson. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force and was retired from Fel-Pro, Inc. Surviving is his loving wife, Hilda Simmons Watson; a daughter, Lori Watson (Chuck Robinson); a son, Mark Watson; and in the home, Kyndal Draughn (Isaac), Ty Simmons and Trey Simmons; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Ken Ward; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Watson was preceded in death by a nephew Kevin Ward; and his son Mark’s partner, Mark Barauck. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Alex Martin, Dr. Roger Gilbert and Rev. Jay Meadows. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church at 314 S. Franklin Rd., Mt.
