Mr. Terry Lynn Arrington

Mr. Terry Lynn Arrington, age 57, of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was born in Mount Airy on August 17, 1955 to the late Claude and Marion Estherlene Chappell-Arrington. Terry was the maintenance manager at South Village Apartments in Mt Airy. He served in the United States Air Force during the Cold War. He was a devoted and loving husband and father who's life lessons and love carried on to his many "sub-children".
Mr. Arrington is survived by his wife, Molly Harris-Arrington; two sons, Justin Lynn Arrington and Jason Alexander Arrington of Mount Airy, two daughters, Alana Lee Harris-Arrington, of Mount Airy, and Heather Wood-Tacy of Ashland, Oregon; a grandson, Logan Alexander Norman; one sister and brother-in-law, Sondra Claudine and Stephen Williams of Central Square, NY; two brothers and sister in law, Danny and Rhonda Arrington of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Claude Anderson "C.A." Arrington formally of Patrick Springs, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
A musical, pot luck celebration of Terry's life will be held at 2:00pm, April 13th, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church, Faith Baptist Church Rd, (off North Franklin Road), Mount Airy, NC. Please bring any pictures you'd like to share, an instrument if you'd like to play, and your favorite dish of choice. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to have donations made to Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
