Mr. Terry Bryan Eaton

Mr. Terry Bryan Eaton, age 64, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Patrick County on February 5, 1948 to the late Roy Roscoe and Vera Hester Bowman Eaton. Mr. Eaton was retired from Indera Mills in Yadkinville and was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Collins Eaton of the home; a son and daughters-in-law, Joey Bryan and Rebecca Eaton of Lowgap, Michelle Hawks Eaton Rogers of Mt. Airy; two grandchildren, Nathan Bryan Eaton and Zachary Eugene Eaton; three sisters, Jean Young of Ararat, VA, Jan Collins of Rural Hall, Eva Wyatt of Reidsville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Eaton of Tobaccoville, Noel and Effie Eaton of Ararat, VA, Clayton and Val Eaton of King, Dillard and Ann Eaton of Dobson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eaton was preceded in death by a son, Donithan Walter Eaton; two sisters, Betty Johnson and Georgia Edwards; a brother, Thomas Roscoe Eaton. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 12:30 PM until time to leave for the service. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain View Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Farley Eaton, 3217 Willis Gap Rd., Ararat, VA 24053.
