Mr. Therman Bruce Clark

Mr. Therman Bruce Clark, age 90, of Mt. Airy, passed away at his home Sunday, March 6, 2016. He was born in Caldwell County, on June 2, 1925, to Roby Haskel and Myrtle Clara Walker Clark. Mr. Clark proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp during WWII and the Korean War. He retired from H.B. Rowe & Co. and was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jessie Marie Poole Clark; sons and a daughter-in-law, Bruce Clark, and Mark and Kathy Clark; a grandson, Matthew Clark; a brother Cecil Clark, a sister-in-law, Betty Clark; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Clark and Erlene Hanson and by brothers, Haskel Clark and Hildred Clark. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Steve Schuylar. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 123 Mt. Carmel Church Rd., Mt. Airy, NC 27030 or the Baptist Children’s Home of North Carolina, P.O. Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27360.
