Mr. Thomas Franklin Rowe

Mr. Thomas Franklin Rowe, age 72, of Dobson, NC passed away at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Yadkin County on April 17, 2016. He was born in Alexandria, VA on September 15, 1943 to the late Tommie Gambill Rowe. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Corder Rowe. He was a member of Rockford Baptist Church and served on the Board of Deacons for many years. Mr. Rowe retired from Unifi in Yadkinville. Surviving are his two daughters and sons-in-law Kim and Tommy Doss of Mt. Airy, Karen and Steven Porter of Dobson; four grandchildren Adam Doss, Ashley Doss, Carrie and Zachary Caudle, Steven Jared Porter; one great-granddaughter Raegan Elizabeth Caudle. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 P.M. April 20, 2016 at Rockford Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ben Webb and Rev. Dennis Bledsoe will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Rockford Baptist Church on Wednesday April 20, 2016 one hour before the service. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Rockford Baptist Church or to the Church Cemetery c/o Dennis Simpson 218 Buck Fork Rd. Dobson, NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Rowe Family.
