Mr. Thomas Llewellyn Uhlman, age 86 of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away at R. J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Virginia, Friday, October 27, 2006. He was born in Tacoma, Washington to the late Charles Uhlman and Louella Hall Uhlman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Coval Uhlman, and several brothers and sisters. He served in the United States Navy Submarine Service as a Motor Machinist First Class during World War II. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Florida and a member of the Catholic Church of the Risen Lord in Patrick Springs, Virginia.
Surviving are six daughters, Suzanne Rogers of Elijay, Georgia, Patricia Snow of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jayne McCallum of St. Petersburg Beach, Florida, Bonita Franklin of Madison, North Carolina, Salle Jones of Ridgeville, South Carolina and Margaret Richardson of Sarasota, Florida; two sons, Thomas M. Uhlman of Patrick Springs, and Joseph Uhlman of Parrish, Florida; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Friday, November 3, 2006 at 7:00 PM at the Catholic Church of the Risen Lord with Father Charles W. Brickner officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Church of the Risen Lord, 59 Mountain View Loop, Patrick Springs, Virginia 24133.
