Mr. Timothy Allen Slate

Mr. Timothy Allen Slate, 52, of Claudville, VA. passed away Saturday morning at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. He was born February 5, 1958 to the late Lemley and Sally Hall Slate. Mr. Slate was also preceded in death by a sister; Margie Moorefield, he was a truck driver for H & W Trucking Company and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Slate is survived by a daughter; Whitney Slate of Richmond, VA, a son; Christopher Slate of Mt. Airy N.C., two grandchildren; Morgan and Lily Slate a brother; Willis Slate of Claudville a brother-in-law, Benton Moorefield of Claudville, several nieces and nephews and a Loving Companion, Janet G. Eppperson. Funeral services for Mr. Slate will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with the Rev. Kevin Easter officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Lisa Greenwood 147 Magnolia Lane, Claudville.
