Mr. Wade Edward Williams

Mr. Wade Edward Williams, age 74 of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, November 07, 2015 at his home. He was born in Rockingham County, NC on September 14, 1941 to the late Woodrow and Emma Jones Williams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, J.W. Williams, Billy Williams and Johnny Williams. He had retired from Nationwide Homes with 35 years of service.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of over thirty-six and a half years, Linda Collins Williams of the home; a daughter, Revonda Morse and husband, Johnny of Walnut Cove, NC; two sons, Edward Williams and wife Angela of Martinsville; and Duane Williams of Stuart; grandchildren, Ashleigh Williams, Jake Williams, Jill Williams, Brent Morse, Morgan Morse, Isaac Williams, and Isabella Williams; great-grandchildren, Alana Morris and Brayden Hylton; special young ladies, Lexy and Laurel Wagoner; sisters, Mary Ellen Scott, Annette Hall, Daisy Hylton, Jeanette Scott, Joan Roop and Rachel Reynolds; brothers, Jimmy Williams Danny Williams and Sammy Williams, all of Patrick County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at New Hope United Methodist Church, Tuesday, November, 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Collins officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home.
