Warren Callis Hiatt, born April 1, 1954, son of Junior and Irene, deceased, husband of Debbie for 40 years, father of Bryan, grandfather of Cassidy, brother of Gail (Wilford), Steve (Shelley), Joan (Michael), Sylvia (Ed), Timothy (Diane), deceased, Benjamin (Christine), and Eric (Cathy), son-in-law of Minor Lowe and Virginia Lowe (deceased), brother-in-law of David and Janice Lowe, uncle of several, cousin and friend to many, returned to his Heavenly Father on October 20, 2017. Warren lived life to the fullest. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved skiing and hiking in the mountains and going to the beaches of North and South Carolina. Warren was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a devoted son of his Heavenly Father. He believed in Jesus Christ and wore his countenance daily, as he loved serving his family and friends. Mr. Hiatt was a graduate of Appalachian State University and was retired from Riverside Building Supply after 30 years of dedicated service. He will be loved and missed by everyone. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Dobson, with burial to follow at Skyline Memory Garden. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
