Mr. Warren Franklin Payne

Mr. Warren Franklin Payne, age 42, of Mt. Airy passed away on Tuesday March 11, 2008 unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Forsyth County on February 7, 1966 to the late Odell George Payne and to Lillian Riggs Payne. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was a self employed carpenter. Surviving are his mother Lillian Riggs Payne of Mt. Airy; one brother and sister-in-law Lee and Robin Payne of Mt. Airy; a nephew Matthew Payne; uncle and aunt Ronnie and Christine Riggs of Mt. Airy; a aunt Marie Gladys Johnson of Thomasville; uncle Ray Haymore of Mt. Airy; several cousins, friends and neighbors; a special friend Thorton Beroth of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson with burial to follow in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dan Buie and Rev. Doug Butcher and Rev. Michael Johnson will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 7 until 9 P.M.
