Mr. William "Bill" Douglas Doss

Mr. William “Bill” Douglas Doss, age 72, of Collinsville passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on May 14, 1944 to the late William Elmer Doss and Mable Knight Doss. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Hall and Sceney Boyd. Mr. Doss had retired from DuPont.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Mayhew Doss of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Leland George Jr. of Stuart; one son and daughter-in-law, William Dwayne and Marie S. Doss of Stuart; one step son and daughter-in-law, Todd Merriman and Toni Brown of Collinsville; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Minister Lawrence Harris officiating.
