Mr. William Michael "Mike" Fulcher, age 60 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at his home. He was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Colonel G. H. Fulcher and Mae Hampton Fulcher. He received his degree in accounting from Appalachian State University, was the owner/operator of Hampton Manufacturing, Inc. in Vesta, and had worked for Applied Felts/Max Liner in Martinsville. He attended Stuart Presbyterian Church, and had served in the United States Army Reserves.
Mr. Fulcher is survived by his wife, Marlene Mooney Fulcher of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, James William and Joanna Fulcher and Jonathan Verne and Andrea Fulcher, all of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Amanda Fulcher of Easley, South Carolina; one sister and brother-in-law, Klyce and Jack Scott of Augusta, Georgia; one aunt, Klyce Chandler and one uncle, William Hampton, both of Eden, North Carolina.
Graveside services for Mr. Fulcher will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Lawson Cemetery in Eden, North Carolina with Dr. Bucky Hunsicker officiating.
