Mr. William D. Isaacs

Mr. William Dare Isaacs age 90, of Thurmond, NC passed away on Wednesday evening March 30, 2016 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born in Surry Co. on September 1, 1925 to the late Asel and Bessie Johnson Isaacs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. He a member of Day Springs Baptist Church and was a retired auto air conditioner mechanic. Surviving are his wife Lillie Wood Isaacs of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law William Dale Isaacs of State Road, NC, Robert and TA Isaacs of El Cajon, CA; two grandsons Josh Isaacs and Michael Isaacs; a special niece, Flora Hayes of Thurmond; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. April 4, 2016 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Union Hill Cemetery. Brother Roger Pickett will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017.
