Mr. William Snydor "Bill" Joyce

Mr. William Snydor "Bill" Joyce, age 89, of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away on Sunday morning April 14, 2013 at Colonial Care Rest Home in Mt. Airy, NC. He was born in Surry Co. on May 21, 1923 to the late William Crockett Joyce and the late Anges Bouldin Joyce. He was a Retired Sawmill worker, and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three half brothers and two half sisters. Surviving are one sister Dorothy York of Mt. Airy; four nieces Brenda Dyson of Reidsville, NC Glenda Manus of Mt. Airy Linda Shipman and Lois Slone both of Dobson. A graveside service will be held Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Ivy Green Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony Holder will conduct the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Ivy Green Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Joyce family.
