Mr. William Andrew Moore

Mr. William Andrew Moore, 45 of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Surry County on August 5, 1970 to the late Martha Anne Collins Moore and Sheppard Ausby Moore, Jr.. He was employed with Pike Electric and attended White Plains Baptist Church. William is survived by his father, Sheppard Ausby Moore, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Jay Tate; brothers and sister-in-law, Chris and Leona Moore, Jeff and Vickie Moore and Jason Moore; a niece, Sheena Bryant and husband, Scott; nephews, Isaac Moore, Kaleb Tate and Kadence Tate. In addition to his mother, William was preceded in death by two nephews, Chad Moore and Bo Jarvis. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at White Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Delph and Rev. Dale Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
