Mr. William Paul Penley, Jr

Mr. William Paul Penley Jr. age 65, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday evening August 8, 2012. He was born in Watauga County, on August 25, 1946 to the late William Paul Penley and the late Arbazennia Bryan Penley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mildred Parsons; two brothers Leroy Penley and Burl Penley. Surviving are seven sisters and six brothers-in-law Eva and Jack Key of Pisgah Forest, NC, Faye Allen of Wilmington, NC, Edna and Bobby Minier of Davison, MI, Shirley and Ralph Hutchens of East Bend, NC, Geraldine and Donnie Gibbons of Shallotte, NC, Sue and Bobby Billings of Mayodan, NC, Lillie and Ben Williams of Union Grove, NC,; by four brothers and two sisters-in-law William Frank and Verlene Penley of Morganton, NC, Billy Penley of Mt. Airy, NC, Daniel and Amy Penley of Boone, NC, Harold Penley of Boone, NC; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday August 12, 2012 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dob son, NC, with burial to follow in the Community Church Cemetery in Blackwater. Rev. Bobby Billings will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M.
