Mr William "Mark" Simmons

Mr. William “Mark” Simmons, 57, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Surry County on September 26, 1959 to the late William Hampton and Peggy Jo Atkins Simmons. Mr. Simmons was an X-Ray Technician at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He will be dearly missed by all family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Susan Tolbert Simmons of the home; a daughter, Molly Elizabeth Simmons of Mt. Airy; brothers and sister-in-law, Myron David and Emma Simmons, Mitchell Todd Simmons all of Mt. Airy; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Trent Lyons and the Rev. Jake Penley officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
