Mr. William Clinton Watson, Jr

Mr. William Clinton Watson, Jr. Age 65 of Elkin, NC passed away at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem on Wednesday October 26, 2011. He was born in Surry County on September 20, 1946 to William Clinton and Naomi White Watson. He was retired from the Surry County School System as the Transportation Supervisor. Surviving are his wife Patsy Newman Watson of the home; one daughter Amie Watson Hall and her husband Kevin, of Dobson; three grandchildren Lacy Marsh, Carley Marsh and Chris Hall; his parents Clinton and Naomi Watson of Morganton, NC; one sister and brother-in-law Jan and Sam Buckner of Morganton, NC. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Cemetery of Bessies Chapel Baptist Church, with Rev. Joe Lambert officiating. Graveside Rites will be conducted by Copeland Masonic Lodge #390. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
