Mr. William Eugene Webb

Mr. William Eugene Webb, age 87 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Senior Share Home in Galax. He was born in Rockbridge County on March 30, 1929 to the late Harrison and Mitty Webb. In addition to his parents, Mr. Webb was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Webb, Delton Webb, Lloyd Webb and one sister, Bessie Reynolds. He had served in the United States Army and had worked for Mabry Mill in the maintenance department.

Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Veda C. Webb of the home, and one daughter and son-in-law, Eugenia and Gary Camden of Natural Bridge.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
