Mr. Willie Ray Allen

Mr. Willie Ray Allen, of King passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born in Surry County on September 5, 1937 to the late Carl Woodrow and Ida Hunt Allen. Mr. Allen retired from R.J. Reynolds and attended Mountain View Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Martin Allen; a daughter, Greta Allen; a son, Chad Allen; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Wayne Huffman; a brother and sister-in-law, Winfred and Audrey Allen; and a special niece and her husband, Melanie and Glenn Wright. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 at Mountain View Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Claudville with the Dr. Tracy Jessup, U.S. Navy Chaplain Trent Jessup and Rev. Tony Goins officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Friday.
