Mr. Woodrow Manford Buelin

Mr. Woodrow Manford Buelin, age 89, of Ararat, NC passed away at Heritage Care of Elkin, NC on Saturday September 29, 2012. He was born in Surry County on May 19, 1923 to the late Virgil Lee Buelin and Mary Eunice Brown Buelin. He was retired from Spencer's and a member of Blackwater Community Church. Woodrow was a humble Christian man who dearly loved his family. He loved to write poems & songs. His home was filled with laughter and love. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Lillie Ann Woods Buelin of the home; two daughters Carol Stimpson of Pinnacle, NC, Diane Buelin of Winston Salem, NC; sons and daughters-in-law Wayne and Dot Bullin of Ararat, NC, Kenneth and Anita Bullin of Ararat, NC, Rex Buelin of Statesville, NC, Terry and Ellen Bullin of Ararat, NC, Dennis and Carolyn Bullin of Dobson, NC. grandchildren Teresa and John Martin, Jonah and Janet Buelin, Angie and Brandon Palmer, Travis and Hope Bullin Jennifer and Michael Biesecker Paul and Casey Buelin,Sarah Edwards, Hannah and T.J. Jones, Joseph Bullin, Rachel and Kevin Pace, Deborah and Richard Jackson, Jeremy Bullin, Dixie Bullin, Sheila and Jerry White; fourteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister Faye McDaniel of Winston Salem, NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Charlie Buelin, Floyd Buelin, Elbert Buelin; two sisters Maggie Hinson, Ida Jones. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday October 2, 2012 at Blackwater Community Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ted Crotts, Rev. Frank Danley, and Rev. Timmy Crotts will conduct the service. The family will receive friends on Monday night at Moody Davis Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and at other times the home of his son Kenneth Bullin.
