Mrs. Ada Margielene Hughes Bohannon

Mrs. Ada Margielene Hughes Bohannon, age 74, of Martinsville, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Martinsville Health & Rehabilitation. She was born in Stokes County, North Carolina on February 15, 1944 to the late Otis Clyde Hughes and Mary Margaret Duncan Hughes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leander Bohannon and seven brothers, Allen Hughes, John Glenn Hughes, Tommy Hughes, Emery Hughes, Otis Clyde Hughes, Jr. and infant brothers, Emery Mcray Hughes and Ronald Hughes.

Surviving are two brothers, Sherman Hughes of Westfield, North Carolina and Alfonzo Hughes of Stuart, Virginia; three sisters, Earline Hughes of Westfield, North Carolina, Verline Hughes of Westfield, North Carolina, and Jerlene Rucker of Collinsville, Virginia; four sisters-in-law, Hulda Hughes of Westfield, North Carolina, Beatrice Hughes of Mount Airy, North Carolina, Doris Hughes of Critz, Virginia and Rachel Hughes of Stuart, Virginia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at noon at Simmons Chapel Baptist Church with Elder Carl Morgan officiating and Elder Manuel Jessup eulogizing. Moody Funeral Services in Stuart is handling the arrangements and online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
