Mrs. Ada "Tom" Pack Martin

Mrs. Ada “Tom” Pack Martin, age 75, of Lawsonville, NC, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Patrick County on May 23, 1941 to the late Harry Pack and Mary Holt Pack. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Carson Wayne Haden; a daughter-in-law, Wendy Martin; two sisters, Lou Pruitt, Clara Bell Inman; and four brothers, Junior, John, Bill, and Arthur Pack.

Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Billy Martin of the home; one daughter, Melinda Bowman and fiancé, Robert Setser of Lawsonville, NC; one son, Billy “B.J.” Martin of Lawsonville, NC; a special son, Brantley Goins of Lawsonville, NC; four grandchildren, Dustin, Heather, Rikki, Lynzie; four sisters, Mae Pack, Barbara Jean Holt, Susie Pack, Joann Holt all of Lawsonville, NC; two brothers, Louis and Irvin Pack both of Lawsonville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Aaron’s Corner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
