Mrs. Agnes Foley Marshall

Mrs. Agnes Foley Marshall, age 91 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 at R. J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on October 23, 1916 to the late Mack Daniel and Nannie Lou Foley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin W. Marshall; six sisters, Gladys Walker, Bernice McNeil, Annice Scott, Eunice Simmons, Frances Lowder and Beatrice Hansen; and four brothers, Albert, James, Raymond and Thomas Foley. She was a member of Fairystone Baptist Church.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by two daughters, Peggy Foley of Stuart and Wanda Marshall of Stuart; three grandchildren, Tom Joyce of Mount Airy, North Carolina, Kathy Hutchens of Martinsville and Dan Joyce of Arlington; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Whitlow of Salem and Kathryn W. Melton of Fieldale; and two great-great-grandchildren, Austin Whitlow and Emmalynn Whitlow.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Jim Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery.
