Mrs. Alpha Jane "Mimi" Spaulding

Mrs. Alpha Jane "Mimi" Roberts Spaulding, age 59 of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away Friday nigth at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Patrick County on June 6, 1953 to the Late Jessie Herbert Roberts and Elma Jewel Fulcher Roberts Gilley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Clarence "Babo" Gilley and two grandsons, Jessie Dale Steele and Jackson Lee Milam.
Mrs. Spaulding is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan Rebecca & Kevin Lee Milam of Stella, Virginia; two sons, Charles Dwight Critz of Stella, Virginia and Daniel Vineyard of Lawsonville, North Carolina; four granddaughters, Courtney Jane Steele, Cheyenne Brooke Steele, Elizabeth Ann Milam and Jennifer Joy West; two brothers, William Herbert Roberts, Sr. of Critz, Virginia and Johnny Harold Spencer of Martinsville, Virginia and two sisters, Jewel Faye Brewer of Madison, North Carolina and Bessie Marie Wilson, Patrick Springs, Virginia.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart, Virginia. The family is receiving friends other times at the home of Mrs. Spaulding's' son, Charles. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alpha Jane "Mimi" Spaulding Memorial Fund, C/o Moody Funeral Home, P.O. Box 307, Stuart, VA 24171.
